Females 10% more vaccinated than males in Hays County

More female Hays County residents are receiving the vaccine than male residents, according to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).


So far in Hays County, 120,993 people have been vaccinated with at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose, and are 103,348 fully vaccinated.


 


Of those who received one vaccine dose, 65,609 were recorded as female, and 54,746 were recorded as male. Of those who were fully vaccinated, 56,586 were recorded as female, and 46,531 were recorded as male. There is an overall 10% difference between vaccines administered to the male and female populations in the county.
