It’s been almost a year since Justin Del Bosque, a Lehman High School student, passed away from Leukemia. His family is still paying out of pocket medical costs for his treatment, which included several surgeries and long stays in the Intensive Care Unit at Dell Children’s Hospital. To help defray those costs and to buy a headstone for Justin’s grave in Kyle Cemetery, the family is holding a BBQ Plate Benefit this Saturday at the Kyle Flea Market with the help of Because you never know “Beneficios,” a nonprofit that helps families in the same situation. Tickets will be for sale from 10 a.m.-4 pm. March 2. Plates are $10 and all proceeds will benefit the Del Bosque family.
