Four Reb choir members head for all-state audition

Four Hays High School Choir members, senior John Bowen, juniors Madeleine Lyon and Savannah Sepulveda, and sophomore Faith Broddrick, successfully auditioned at the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Pre-Area level at Austin’s Anderson High School recently. All four qualified for the TMEA All-State Choir auditions in January. Under the direction of Charles Flores, the showing by the four doubled last year’s Rebel Choir representation at the State auditions.
