Travis Charles Greenwood, 22, beloved son, grandson, and brother, passed away on May 26, 2013. Travis was born August 18, 1990, in Austin, to Charles Greenwood and Jane Greenwood.
Growing up, Travis enjoyed playing Manchaca Little League Baseball, playing football at Ojeda Middle School, and playing freshman, JV, and varsity football at Del Valle High School. He was a proud member of Del Valle F.F.A. and Creedmoor 4-H. He was a 2009 graduate of Del Valle High School, and he was employed by LCRA. Travis loved bull riding, fishing, hunting, barbecue cook-offs with his dad, and his Harley. More than anything, Travis loved life, and he did not waste a minute of it. Whether bringing to light his next big idea or helping someone else find the light within themselves, he fit a lifetime of love and laughter into his brief 22 years, and he shared it with a lifetime of family and friends who dearly loved him.
He is survived by his father, Charles Greenwood, of Buda; his mother, Jane Greenwood, of Austin; his brother, Edward Urias, of Austin; uncles Mark Greenwood (Anne) of Conroe and Richard Lawler of Lockhart; his “Nana” Carolyn Greenwood, of Buda; and many other relatives in Texas, Missouri, and Tennessee. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Wilbur and Billie Lawler; his paternal “Papa,” Chuck Greenwood; and his aunt Carol Alba.
