Gary Job Corps students and staff assisted with the Hootenanny on the Hill at Plum Creek in Kyle over the weekend. The event started with 1K, 3K, 5K, and 10K Race, along with a BBQ cook-off with 30 teams from around Central Texas, 40 vendors, games for the adults and children, Pet Fair, Wildflower Seed Stomp, music, washer tournament, Scarecrow Contest, Star Dogs Talent Contest, and face-painting and balloons for all.
