Mark Allen New, 71 of Queen Creek, AZ, went home to be with the Lord, February 21, 2013 after a battle with cancer. Mark was a 1960 graduate of Buda High School and a friend to all who knew him. Mark with his wife Connie returned home to Buda for the 50th Class Reunion celebration in 2011 for the classes if 1960, 1961 and 1962.
Mark retired in 2008 as a pipe fitter from Local 469 in Phoenix. His passions were: his family, working with wood, playing the guitar, the Texas Longhorns and telling people about Jesus. Mark may be gone, but he will always be remembered for his gentleness and his wonderful warm smile.
He is survived by, wife Connie, daughters, Janice, Jeanice, and Heather, grandchildren Shelby, Devyn, Stevie, Payton, Jace and Hayden.
Mark’s life will be celebrated at First Baptist Church Buda, Friday, June 21, 2013 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Hospice Family Care, 13639 E. Ray Road, Gilbert, AZ 85296.
