Bartolo Navarro, 81, of Driftwood, passed away Monday April 29. He was born August 22, 1931 and lived and worked all of his life as a rancher in the Driftwood area. He greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking weekend road trips and loved to BBQ. What he enjoyed the most in life was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Cristela, sons, Juan and wife Norma, Nasario and wife Twyla and step-daughter Maria and husband David; grandchildren: Wally and Brittany, Cassy and Sammy, Jason and Alicia, Cody, Veronica and Steven, David and Amanda, Christy and Nicolas, Garrett, Waylon, Mariah and Adrian, Anthony and Carolina, Clint and Zoe, Mandy and Angel, Dalton, Eduardo, Collin and Christian; great-grandchildren: Bree, Bella, Brynn, Brooklyn, AJ, Brandon, Destiny, Abigayle, Malachi, Kayla, Mariah, Tiana, Ciara, Izaiah, Dalton, Joshua, Naomi, Jordan, Michael, Elijah, Layla, Aalyiah, Destiney, Mathiaz, Harmonee, Tatiana, Mckayla, Bianca, Alexis, Samuel, Cheyanne, Ivy, Ethan, Nevaeh, Zenae. Bartolo is also survived by his sisters Lucy, Elva, Janie, Lupe and brother Rudy. Bartolo was preceded in death by first wife Juanita , brothers Armando and Gilbert and daughter-in-law Shirley.
He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. Services were held on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Driftwood Cemetery.
