Donna Gayle Gross (maiden name Linden) born July 15, 1947, passed away December 31, 2012, to be with the love of her life.
Donna was born and raised in Austin and graduated from Austin High School in 1965. Shortly after high school, Donna became a resident of Buda and built a home under the name of Donna Hendrickson in Oxbow Trails in the late 70’s and raised two children, Adana Hendrickson Frey and Michael Hendrickson, in the Hays Schools.
Years later, she married the love of her life Gene Gross and moved to the Killeen area where she lived out the rest of her life.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Andrew Linden and her husband, Gene Arnold Gross.
Donna is survived by her children, Adana Hendrickson Frey of Bastrop and Gary Michael Hendrickson of Seabrook; her grandchildren, Amalee Frey and Addison Hendrickson and close cousins Carol Jean Hill and Cynde Engelke. She is also survived by numerous close friends all over.
Memorial Services will be held at the Shady Hollow Community Center in South Austin on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please bring any donations to the memorial to help support burial services at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.
