On Tuesday, neighborhoods across Texas celebrated the 30th anniversary of the National Night Out (NNO) initiative. Created by the National Association of Town Watch, the purpose of NNO is to increase crime prevention awareness, generate support for anticrime programs, and bolster the spirit of neighborhoods to deter crime. Numerous subdivisions and communities in Kyle and Buda celebrated with cookouts, gatherings and fun and games for the kids.
