County and city leaders continue to encourage residents to participate in city government meetings, town events and other local activities in their area.
To find out where and how to participate, here is a condensed list. More opportunities are available through city and county websites.
Kyle City Council
Kyle City Council will be meeting on Tuesday, March 16, at 7 p.m. at City Hall. Agenda items include discussion of installing the Veterans Drive signs on Memorial Day, road projects and zoning ordinances.
For those not attending in-person, a live stream will be available on Spectrum 10 and the city’s YouTube channel. To view the full agenda, please visit the city of Kyle website.
Dripping Springs City Council
The Dripping Springs City Council will meet on Tuesday, March 16, at 6 p.m. Residents can join the virtual meeting via Zoom. Once the agenda is posted, it will be available on the city of Dripping Springs website.
Hays County Commissioner Court
Commissioners will meet on Tuesday, March 23, beginning at 9 a.m. at the Hays County Courthouse in San Marcos. Members of the public are welcome to attend in-person or follow along using the live stream.
While the court typically meets every Tuesday, it will not meet on March 16.
Board of Trustees
To keep the education community informed, Dripping Springs ISD and Wimberley ISD will meet on Monday, March 22, at 6 p.m. Hays CISD will have its next meeting on Monday, March 29, at 6 p.m. Agendas will be posted on the district websites.
Members of the public are encouraged to submit comments addressing the Board of Trustees, whether the meetings are in-person or virtual.
Buda Farmers Market
Come get fresh organic baked goods, vegetables and more at your local farmers market at the Buda Mill & Grain Co. They are open every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., unless otherwise posted.
Dripping Springs Farmers Market
Dripping Springs residents and tourists can visit the farmers market at the Veterans Memorial Park, also known as the Triangle, every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Please visit the city of Dripping Springs website for updates.
Buda City Council has not posted when the next meeting is scheduled.
