Joyce Irene Hayes Wilkerson

In special thanks of the caring memory of Joyce Irene Hayes Wilkerson of Buda who passed on April 30, 2013 due to a fatal bus accident. She was the only daughter of Melva and Weldon Hayes. She leaves behind her loving husband of 55 years Lloyd “Ray” Wilkerson, son Michael and wife Glenda Wilkerson, daughter Deborah and husband Kurt Zedler, grandson Eric Zedler, step-grandson CJ and wife Christina Kelly, step-great-grandson Ian Kelly, mother-in-law Nina Conn, brother Windell and wife Mary Hayes, sister-in-law Carolyn Hayes. She was preceded in death by her four brothers Roger Hayes, J.W. Hayes, Wayne Hayes and Kenneth Hayes. Joyce will be best remembered for her caring ways, thoughtfulness and lively personality. We want to thank her many well-loved clients and friends from Austin, Spicewood, Kingsville, San Marcos and Buda. We want to send a special thanks to the helpful people at the Creekside Villa Apartment Center, United Lending and Pok E-Joes Catering Service and for the special assistance given by the Buda Police, EMS and Fire Department.
