The Tivy girls basketball team squeaked it out in overtime 56-54 over the Hays Lady Rebels. It was Hays’ to lose as they entered the fourth quarter ahead 38-27.
But turnovers stung the Lady Rebels as Kerrville Tivy scored 20 points in the fourth, tying the game at 47-47. Jordyne Dugger was high scorer for Hays with 18 points, with four of those points in overtime. Olivia Robertson led Tivy with 22 points, six points in overtime – all of them free throws.
