The City of Buda has an election for two (2) council seats Nov. 5, 2013. There is only one early voting day in Buda which is Oct. 25, 2013.
We have six candidates from which to choose.
My choice for Place 1 is Angela Kennedy. She is an engineer (A&M) with a strong background in water and wastewater. We need her.
Her opponents are a man who is spreading untruths and refuses to abide by the rules concerning signs. There are also two women opponents who won’t return calls or communicate with the public.
Wiley Hopkins, incumbent, is running for Place 2. He is my choice. Wiley is a retired thinking man. He doesn’t talk much, but when he does talk, it’s important and worthwhile. His opponent ran unsuccessfully aganst Mr. Hopkins the last election.
