16 teams from Central Texas and beyond will converge at Hays High School for the 2013 Hays Lady Rebel Classic, which runs Thursday through Saturday.
This year’s tournament features several high profile teams, four of which are ranked in the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TCGA) state basketball poll.
Vista Ridge, ranked third in 4A, will participate, along with 5A powerhouses Akins and Cibolo Steele. Steele is ranked eighth, while Akins is 18th. Hays enters the tournament ranked 20th in 4A.
It all begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday morning.
