The wrong direction!

In May of 2012, the best Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Lehman Lobos has ever had was replaced. The key reason was the school wanted “a new direction.”  In his last season as Head Football Coach his record was 6 wins and 4 losses. This season the Lobos were 3 wins and 7 losses. This “new direction” we have under our present Coach seems questionable.

The fact is, after Coach Davis was released, the Superintendent also let go the Principal of the High School and then he left as well. The problem was not the Head Coach and Athletic Director but the Principal and the Superintendent of Schools. I can assure you that no one in Hays County misses either the Principal or the old Superintendent, Mr. Lyons. Especially not those of us that have supported the then new High School Lehman from the beginning. We sincerely enjoyed the progress and the direction Coach Davis took the entire athletic program at the school. Coach Davis is, and has been, a winner in every program he was with. I sure do miss his direction and winning ways!
