Hernandez and Joe Angel Cisneros, 31, who was arrested in San Marcos on Oct. 23, are accused of giving a 15-year-old northern Hays County girl drugs, sexually assaulting her and prostituting her to several men earlier this year.
The suspects are believed to be related.
The teenager, who told police she ran away from home, was allegedly being held in a travel trailer in Buda, sometimes going without food and water for days. According to court documents, the victim told investigators she was made to engage in prostitution and sexual conduct.
The victim told investigators she first made contact with Hernandez on Facebook, and the men invited her to “hang out.” The victim said she “partied and drank alcohol with both Hernandez and his cousin,” court documents state. She also told investigators the men provided her with cocaine and pain pills during her time under their control and, at one point, methamphetamines.
The suspects allegedly controlled the victim throughout the three-week ordeal, but neither beat her or physically assaulted her, court documents state.
The teenager was allegedly prostituted at parties and private homes in Austin, Buda and Kyle, and the suspects collected money from the men she was exposed to, court documents state.
Hernandez is being held at the Hays County Jail on a $300,000 bond. Cisneros is being held on a $150,000 bond.
