The NJROTC Sea Lobos of Lehman High School participated in their first drill meet of the year recently at Smithson Valley High School. Overall, the Sea Lobos placed sixth out of 19 schools. The unit competed in events like physical training, unarmed and armed drill, color guard, and academics. The armed drill team placed fourth for their exhibition routine and ninth for regulation. The unarmed drill team placed seventh in exhibition and eighth for regulation. For the unit inspection they placed sixth. Overall, the Sea Lobos leaders termed the meet results as “an outstanding job for their first competition of the year.”
