New farmers market opens in Dripping Springs

DRIPPING SPRINGS -- The Hill Country Farmers Market will be open Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the grounds of Dreamland on Highway 290, west of Dripping Springs. Visitors can find a wide selection of products along with live music, activities for kids and appearances from nonprofits and service organizations. 

“As the area has grown,” said Lauren Robertson, owner and market manager, “so has appreciation and demand for locally produced artisan foods, grass-fed meats, and organic produce. Sunday morning is such a relaxed time to shop and get to know your local farmers, ranchers, and food producers firsthand.”
