Our friends at Creekside Villa Apartments at 590 RR 967 are having a Holiday Bazaar on Saturday, Nov. 23 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Most of the items being sold are handmade by the residents of Creekside, so stop by for a nice little gift for a special one or just for yourself.

The Knights of Columbus of Santa Cruz Catholic Church will host their annual Christmas dinner for all area senior citizens on Sunday, Dec.1, at the church. Serving will start at 5 p.m. with good food, door prizes and lots of entertainment.

Due to the flooding, Good Shepherd Ministries will be holding church services at 10:45 a.m. on Sundays at the Onion Creek Senior Center, 420 Bartons Crossing in Buda. Members will continue meeting at the senior center until repairs are completed on their church; visitors are invited to join them.

The Onion Creek Senior Center will close for Thanksgiving Day. The center will be open from 4 until 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 29 for a “pot luck” Friday Social. Bring a dish and come for a visit.

Just a reminder that schools will be closed Monday, Nov. 25 – Friday, Nov. 29 for Thanksgiving holidays. The Buda Public Library will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving. They will reopen Saturday during their normal operating hours.
