The Hays County Food Bank provided 457 turkey boxes to Hays CISD. Little Guys Movers transported the boxes to the Performing Arts Center and the Hays CISD maintenance staff helped food bank volunteers unload and distribute to students’ families who were identified by school counselors as needing assistance. Donations are still needed to help cover expenses for more than 3,000 turkey boxes being delivered throughout the county this week at nine different locations.
