A fire in the 17000 block of Interstate-35 between Kyle Crossing and Hillside Terrace Monday afternoon displaced the family of a singlewide mobile home. Buda Fire Department responded to the call and requested mutual aid from the Kyle Fire Department, according to Buda Fire Chief Clay Huckaby. Residents were home at the time of the fire, which Huckaby said is under investigation by the Hays County Fire Marshal. The Red Cross was called in to assist the family. (Photo by Lincoln Ramirez)
