On March 23, Lehman powerlifter Kenny Higgins placed second in the Super Heavy Weight class at the Texas High School Powerlifting Association’s state meet in Abilene. Higgins totaled 1900 pounds on his squat, bench and deadlift. This marks the third consecutive year that a member of the Lobos boys powerlifting team has placed third or higher at the state meet.
