Gus A. Carrillo, 82, of Buda, joined Christ peacefully surrounded by his loving family on the morning of Tuesday, June 11.
Following retirement from Civil Service at Kelly AFB TX, Gus and his wife of 58 years were dynamic in their service to the Santa Cruz Catholic Community in Buda for over 11 years. Through dedication to his faith, he touched the lives of countless people. A true servant in Christ, he will be greatly missed.
Gus is survived by his wife, Alice C. Carrillo; his daughter Alice C. Garcia and her husband Raul D. Garcia; his son Gus A. Carrillo and his wife Debora K. Carrillo; his siblings Alice Martinez and Alfred Carrillo; and four grandchildren; Denise and Michelle Garcia, and Victoria and Catherine Carrillo.
The Rosary was held at Santa Cruz Catholic Church in Buda, on Thursday, June 13 and the funeral Mass was Friday, June 14 also at Santa Cruz.
