The Austin Community College (ACC) Hays Campus opens January 2014, just in time for spring classes. Registration for new students is now open. Classes start Jan. 13. ACC courses cost about 74 percent less than local public universities. In-district residents pay $67 per credit hour.
Class schedules and course descriptions for the spring semester are available at austinacc.edu/enroll. The ACC Hays campus will offer courses in accounting, biology, computer information technology, chemistry, English, psychology, math, Spanish, criminal justice, history and more.
ACC offers a range of career services, academic advising and counseling to assist students in their educational pursuits.
The grand opening celebration for the Hays campus is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Jan. 16.
