Dripping Springs ISD’s annual enrollment verification process for all students begins Wednesday, July 28, 2021. According to state law, this process must be completed each year for all students. The enrollment process includes those who have been enrolled in DSISD previously and those who are new to the district and previously completed registration.
As of June 2021, the school district is expecting 8,031 projected students. Dripping Springs ISD reported 7,173 students in the 2019-2020 school year. Several schools were at capacity during the last school year, so having parents register is important to the district.
Last year, Rooster Springs Elementary and Sycamore Springs Middle School were at capacity, at 105% and 108% respectively. Schools max out at 120%, so knowing how many students will be in what grades allows the district to plan ahead.
