Budafest has been delayed one week due to cold, rainy weather, but come out Dec. 14-15 for this 34th annual event in downtown Buda. The parade starts at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 on Main Street followed by the opening of the many food, arts and craft booths, free entertainment, carnival rides and visits with Santa Claus. If you remember, last year’s Budafest was one of the warmest ever, so we are due a cold one.
As always, members of the Onion Creek Senior Citizens will have a booth stocked with home made baked goods and hand made items as well as tickets for a chance to win a beautiful quilt. Drawing for the quilt will take place on Thursday, Dec. 12 at the senior center. Please stop by the booth and support your area seniors.
