Nancy Jean Johnson, beloved mother, grandmother and daughter, passed away at the age of 66 on Dec. 5, 2013. She was born in W. Columbia, Texas to James Cecil and Eleanor (Tinsley) Andrews on Nov. 3, 1947.
She married the love of her life, Adison A. Johnson III on June 21, 1966 in Lake Jackson, Texas. They both worked at Dow Chemical Company for many years. The most important part of Nancy’s life was her love for family, especially the grandchildren, and her church.
She was preceded in death by her father; brother, James Cecil Andrews Jr. and daughter-in-law, Tabatha Johnson. Nancy is survived by her husband, two sons, Bradford and his wife, Jennifer Johnson of Kyle and Scott Johnson of Kyle; four grandchildren, Zachary and Vincent Johnson and Anna Piszczyk and Zoe Johnson; her mother, Eleanor Andrews and sister, Anna Carol Malone of Angleton.
Family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m., and the funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at the Kyle United Methodist Church in Kyle. Interment will follow at the Masonic Cemetery in Prairie Lea, Texas.
