This week, the boys take control of Bales and Graham Gyms, as Hays holds the Rebel Classic, which runs from Dec. 12-14.
Fourteen teams will participate in the tournament, with Killeen Harker Heights the lone state ranked team.
Harker Heights is the 11th best team in 5A, according to the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC).
Local heavy hitters Austin Akins, Round Rock McNeal and Austin Lanier will participate. In addition, the tournament will have a Hays County flair, as San Marcos and Dripping Springs join Lehman and host Hays.
The action begins at 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
