Sheriff Gary Cutler and the Hays County Sheriff’s Office were honored to assist the Sunshine Kids - children with cancer - in the 2013 Hill Country Adventure last week. Activities included police pursuit driving, Texas-style BBQ prepared by deputies, police escorts to the State Capitol and a motorcycle ride in the Hill Country. The HCSO has been involved with the Sunshine Kids Organization for many years. Employees say it is a special event they eagerly wait for each year.
