Sure that the kids are all enjoying another week of holiday vacation. Schools resume on Monday, Jan. 6.

Charlotte Quisenberry had major surgery the first part of December and thankfully was home before Christmas and her Dec. 29 birthday.

New Year’s Day birthday wishes go out to Charlene Jones and John Sanford; more birthday wishes to Jeri Christian on Jan. 2; Carolyn Hesser, Ann Moreland and Pat Williams on Jan. 3; John Hatch on Jan. 6; and Kim Fry on Jan. 8.

The Onion Creek Senior Citizens will have their first Thursday lunch for 2014 on Dec. 9. Serving time is 12 noon and all area seniors are welcome. Come early for coffee, visiting and games. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. The center is located at 420 Barton’s Crossing, just off FM 2770 in Buda.
