Movember at Milt’s Pit BBQ
Milt’s Pit BBQ will host a free Movember event on Sat. Nov. 23 from 7-11 p.m. to raise awareness of prostate and testicular cancer in men and mental health challenes. 100 percent of the donations collected will go to the Movember charity. Patrons can also enjoy the musical stylings of Piqued Jacks (Italy) and Lucas Cook (Austin), as well as participate in the silent auction full of “MANLY items” and information about men’s health.

Texas Size Print: Texas Tour
A special reception at the Centro Cultural de San Marcos from 6-8 p.m. Thursday Nov. 21 will feature “Art to the Third Power” and the opening of the exhibit, The Texas Size Print: Texas Tour, works by San Antonio based artists. Those in attendance will also get to see artwork on display by students from San Marcos High School and the ArtSpace.
