Our beloved Julian O. Hernandez, born June 19, 1941, was called by our heavenly Father June 3, 2013.
He was born in Creedmoor, Texas. He served in the Army and Army Reserve Unit.
He retired from the Texas Highway Department as a printer. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at Santa Cruz Church, a member of the Monday Prayer group at Santa Paul’s Catholic Church and also a volunteer at the Saint Vincent de Paul Thrift Store.
He leaves behind his beloved family to cherish his memory. The love of his life, wife Rebecca (married since August 11, 1968) and beloved son Juan Carlos and beloved grandson Carlos Rene. He is also survived by two sisters, Natalia Pulido and Maria Flores and two brothers, Edward and Luis Hernandez (Frances) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Monica, parents Juan and Juanita Hernandez, four brothers and two sisters.
Rosary will be Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Harrell Funeral Home, Kyle. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 6 at Santa Cruz Catholic Church in Buda with interment at Assumption Cemetery in Austin.
