Edwin Joseph Wouters, 70, of Driftwood passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Seton Hays Medical Center in Kyle.
Edwin was born on May 19, 1943, in Antwerp, Belgium to Adrienne De Pree Wouters and John Joseph Wouters. He and his wife Nora moved to the United States in 1976 and to Texas in 1984. He was a Chemical Engineer for the 3M Corporation for many years. Edwin was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Dripping Springs, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nora; son Kelly Wouters and his wife Melina; daughter Jessica McKinney and her husband Mikael; and two grandchildren, Katie and Luke. His third grandchild, Sean, is expected in October.
A funeral Mass was conducted Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church under the direction of Harrell Funeral Home in Dripping Springs.
In lieu of flowers, “Memorial Contributions” can be made to the following charities: The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, The Gabriel Project, St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, or The Dripping Springs Community Library.
