Ribbons and mums of all sizes were seen at Hays this week, where the school celebrated Homecoming 2013. Festivities began during the Hays pep rally on Friday afternoon. The mothers of senior football players surprised the crowd by entering the field through the Rebel run through, and performed several cheer routines for students and their sons.
Prior to the Hays vs. Kerrville Tivy football game, Hays held their official homecoming ceremony, where Hayden Cagle and Marrina Peralez were named the 2013 homecoming King and Queen. During halftime, Madeline Finchum was named Hays Rebel Band Sweetheart 2013. The Rebels lost to Tivy 34-31.
