The month of June saw some local restaurants in hot water with Hays County health inspectors, while others rose to the top of the list.
Buda Drug Store remains demerit-free for a long-time running. Casa Alde improved from 23 demerits to only 8 in just more than a year. Only one establishment received a far below average rating - Bread Basket at Goforth Road. Among the violations at the Bread Basket, inspectors found improper cooling for cooked/prepared food.
