Lehman High School art students Karina Geiss, left, and Melissa Compton were selected for the “Ahead of Their Time” show at the Arthouse in Austin. Additionally, Jeremiah Flynn, center, has been named a finalist in the Photographers Forum Contest and will be published in “The Best of College and High School Photography 2012.” The contest is sponsored by Nikon and over 17,700 world-wide entries were considered. Artwork from around the district was displayed in celebration of Youth Art Month at the Performing Arts Center in Kyle.
