In this sad time for our country, our thoughts and prayers are with all the people of Newtown, Conn. No words can take their pain away; just hold your loved ones close and hope there is an answer to all this madness.

Senior citizens of the Buda area were treated to carriage rides, tours of the Trail of Lights in Stagecoach Park and special refreshments at Buda City Hall on Thursday night. “Thank you” to the Buda Lions Club and employees of the city for the wonderful evening provided to the seniors.

Tuesday morning, the Buda Bees of the Onion Creek Senior Citizens had their annual Christmas party at the senior center. They enjoyed delicious food and especially discussing plans for moving into the new senior centers where there will be a spacious arts/crafts/quilting room.
The Onion Creek Senior Center in Buda will be closed Thursday, Dec. 27, for the holidays. Watch for good things to come for our area senior citizens in 2013, when they will move into their beautiful new center.

Enjoy all the sights and sounds of Christmas and don’t miss seeing the Trail of Lights in Stagecoach Park. The last night for viewing the lights is Saturday, Dec. 22. This has been a wonderful event for our town and we thank all who helped with this Christmas time fun.
