Some Texas families with children could be eligible to receive food benefits.
Gov. Greg Abbott announced that the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) received approval for a second round of Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) food benefits for families with children who temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals during the 2020-2021 school year.
