Live Oak Health Partners (LOHP) in San Marcos, a local primary and specialty care medical group owned and operated by Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC), is pleased to announce the addition of three new doctors to its growing team.
Dr. Michelle Rodriguez attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed her residency at Memorial Family Medicine’s residency program. Rodriguez, who said she enjoys working in the full spectrum of medicine, is fluent in Spanish and treats patients of all ages.
Dr. Robert Duran, a San Antonio native, completed his residency at University of North Dakota. He moved back to launch his general surgery practice in 1987.
Originally from the Salt Lake City area, Dr. Jason VanShaar recently moved to San Marcos from the northeast. He attended Temple Medical School and completed his residency at Avington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania. He sees patients of all age groups and treats a broad range of medical conditions, including diabetes and some neurological issues.
We are delighted to welcome these three new partners to the Live Oak group, said Lenore DePagter, DO, internal medicine/pediatrics and administrator of LOHP. The current physicians in our group are confident that these three new partners bring skills and increased access to care in each of the communities we serve.
