Corrine Joy Pardinek, age 51, died August 20, 2012 at her residence near Buda. Corrine was born on December 7, 1960 in Orlando, Florida. She moved to Dripping Springs where she lived with her family and graduated from Dripping Springs High School in 1979. In 1982 she met her future husband, Carl Pardinek. They were married in January of 1983 and moved to Buda to raise their family. One of Corrine’s greatest passion was her horses; she loved barrel racing, trail riding with her friends and spending time caring for her horses. Corrine was also a fitness enthusiast and completed a triathlon in 2005. She was an exceptional dental assistant who really enjoyed working with her patients; a career she practiced for 22 years. Corrine is preceded in death by her son Brandon.
She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Carl Pardinek of Buda; son Brent Pardinek and his fiancée Sloane Cormier of Austin; parents Tom and Maxine Myers of Bee Caves; her twin brother Calvin, his wife Tammy, and their children Cory, Courtney, Andrea, and Quinlan of Dripping Springs; her sister Cynthia Myers-McComb, her husband Keith, and her daughter Jennifer of Lampasas; her younger brother Cary, his wife Shara, and their children Shanna, Macy, and Zane; and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. The family wishes to thank Dr. Ellen Smith (Oncologist) and Dr. Thomas Hill (Neurologist) for their endless support and care over the years.
A memorial aervice was held Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Bannockburn Baptist Church. There will be a Celebration of Life Service in September. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Corrine to Hospice Austin, For The Love of Christi or to the National Organization of Rare Diseases (NORD), attention: Paraneoplastic Cerebellar Degeneration.
