Paige Wessin, granddaughter of long time Buda residents, Richard and JoAnn Sadler, visited with them while they were in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Paige met her S.D. cousins and other family members. All had a good time.

So many prayers and well wishes go out to Pat (Jones) Shoemaker, mother of County Commissioner Mark Jones as she is recovering from surgery.

The Buda Merchants will not have “First Thursday” in August. Watch for a big bang up “First Thursday” coming on September 6 with many special attractions at all the downtown businesses. More to come on this as the old town area prepares for “Remembering Buda.”
