STAFF REPORT
With the heat of summer already here, the city of Kyle will roll out new summer hours to conserve energy.
Starting June 18, City Hall will be open 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, then 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Fridays.
Lanny Lambert, city manager, said this should help reduce energy costs during the hottest part of the day each Friday.
“And I think our customers will like being able to pay bills both earlier and later than normal,” Lambert said.
Summer hours will continue through the end of August.
