DRIPPING SPRINGS — Due to the severe weather conditions that Central Texas has experienced for the last week, the 31st Annual Dripping Springs Wild Dinner has been moved to Saturday, March 6.
While COVID-19 may not allow for a main event under one roof, volunteers at the Dripping Springs United Methodist Church (off Ranch Road 12) will prepare meals for the community to enjoy in the comfort of their own home. Meals will be available for pick up at the drive-thru event from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Menu items will include: brisket, turkey, venison and pork sausage, spicy creamed corn, beans and coleslaw.
To receive the free family-style meals, orders must be placed by Wednesday, March 3. There is a limit of two meals per order, but meat can also be purchased separately.
Raffle tickets and online donations are appreciated to help raise funds for charities in Dripping Springs and Hays County. For more information, please visit https://dswildgamedinner.com/.
