Re-elect Our Pct. 3 Hays County Commissioner

I am a United States Veteran and a resident of Hays County where I choose to raise my family.

I urge you to vote for Will Conley and re-elect him. Our commissioner is a true leader who understands he is in service to his constituents; his decisions are made only after careful study of each matter that comes before the court. Best of all, he is approachable and will listen respectfully to opposing views. That’s a rare quality, but one he owns and I’ve witnessed firsthand.

Our county now owns a handicap accessible van for our veterans needing to get to medical appointments at VA clinics. In 2010, I served on a panel, along with Commissioner Conley, which was tasked with solving the problem of getting them there after the county lost the use of the old bus we had been using for years. Will Conley brought collaborative ideas and worked tirelessly to ensure we accomplished our goals. He managed to get a TXDOT grant for a new veterans van. It was important to him to do the right thing & honor those Americans that sacrificed for our country. But as is his style, he did not want to take any of the credit. I am urging voters to give him credit May 29th, when you walk into the voting booth. It is my understanding, candidate Sam Brannon objects to appropriately respecting our flag during the Pledge of Allegiance.  He desires to win a seat positioned just below our flag in the Will Burnett Courtroom.  The seat from which Will Conley rises respectfully every Tuesday morning, places his hand over his heart and recites our Pledge of Allegiance.

Will Conley is active in our community, operates a successful small business and believes in hard work. He is charitable. He values those who get up and go to work everyday to keep their families functioning during strained economic times.  He takes seriously the duty to responsibly impact public education, crucial water issues and vital public services.  He will work with us and for us. He will continue to work with vital issues we are concerned about in a compassionate way.  I urge you to vote for Will Conley.
