Author to speak at Buda Library
Internationally renowned novelist and published author Joe Massucci will speak at Buda Public Library at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 29 about how to outline a novel and the process of self-publishing and marketing books as well. Massucci writes techno-thrillers, one of which was optioned by the SciFi channel. His latest novel, Gorgon, is about the race to prevent the release of a manmade neuro-toxin on the eastern coast of the U.S.

Fried Fish Dinner

Girl Scout 100th Birthday Party
Noon-5 p.m. Everyone is welcome to bring a picnic lunch, lawn chair or blanket and watch the Powder Puff Derby, play bingo, sing Girl Scout songs and do crafts Sunday, April 1 at McKinney Falls State Park dining hall. Birthday cake served at 4 p.m., closing with the Friendship Circle.
