If you would like to support Buda’s Onion Creek Senior Citizens, lets count the ways: 1. Buy a brick pavers for the new center, cost $100; 2. Purchase a poinsettia, cost $12; 3. Purchase a ticket for a chance to win a queen size quilt, cost $1 or five tickets for $5; 4. Visit the Art Festival on Oct. 20-21 and buy drinks and cookies from the booth near the art tent and stop at Buda City Hall for the quilt show. Creekside Villa resident Dot Kirschner recently entertained her best friends, JoAnn Book of Poplarville, Mississippi and Carolyn Hunt of Carthage, TX. The girls have been friends since first grade in Bogalusa, Louisiana and were together in Buda celebrating their 70th birthdays.

Katherine Bailey has been back home for a visit with family and friends. She is currently working in Colorado and returned there on Sunday.

Becky Beck, along with sister-in-law and brother-in-law, experienced a ten-day vacation riding the rails of Amtrak and visiting many wonderful towns. Beck had a great time, but missed her grandbabies!

It was fun times in California for Rebecca Acosta-Ojeda. She spent time visiting with her mom and sister for a few days while hubby stayed home with the daughters.

The Better Breathers Club will meet Monday, Oct. 15 at noon at the Onion Creek Senior Center in Buda. For information concerning this free program call Gloria at (512) 504-5139.
The Buda Public Library will have adult art classes at 6 p.m.on Monday, Oct. 15. The classes are presented by Zak Dennis and will be held every third Monday through December.
