County and city leaders continue to encourage residents to participate in city government meetings, town events and other local activities in their area.
To find out where and how to participate, here is a condensed list. More opportunities are available through city and county websites.
Hays County Commissioner Court
The Hays County Commissioner Court typically meets every Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m., unless otherwise posted at . The meetings take place at 111 E. San Antonio St., in San Marcos, but the public can also follow along virtually.
Kyle Planning & Zoning
The Kyle Planning & Zoning Commission meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting on Tuesday, March 9, will take place virtually and can be viewed live at . Please refer to the city of Kyle website for when the agenda will be posted.
Kyle Mass Food Distribution
Central Texas Food Bank is partnering with the city of Kyle for a mass food drive event on Saturday, March 13, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the ACC Hays Campus. All residents are welcome to attend the event to receive a box of assorted produce, milk, and a protein box. No registration is required beforehand.

Buda Farmers Market
Come get fresh organic baked goods, vegetables and more at your local farmers market located at the Buda Mill & Grain Co. They are open every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., unless otherwise posted.
