Rebel flag to be discussed at Hays CISD board meeting
The Hays CISD Board of Trustees meets Monday, Nov. 12, at 5:30 p.m. at Hays High School. On the agenda is the first reading of recommendations for wearing/having the Confederate flag on personal property, including clothing and vehicles. School administrators have spent the last month gathering information to help formulate recommendations for district rules regarding student display of the Confederate flag or other offensive, intolerant or racially hostile imagery, on personal property.

Anyone wishing to speak on the issue must sign up and submit a form prior to the beginning of the board meeting.
