Betty Gean Vickers, 65, of Buda, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at South Austin Medical Center in Austin. Funeral Services were under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home in Gonzales, Texas and were held at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel in Gonzales on Saturday, November 3, 2012 with Reverend Paul Smith officiating. Interment followed at Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery in Gonzales.
Betty was born on January 20, 1947 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was the daughter of William “Junny” Davidson and Loma “Lorene” (Graham) Smithson. She married Larry Vickers in San Antonio on August 30, 1969. She earned BSN degree and worked in public health throughout the Austin area. Betty is survived by her husband, Larry of the home, one daughter; Natalee Piccirillo and her husband, Joshua of San Antonio, two grandchildren; Nicholas Piccirrillo and Alex Piccirrillo, both of San Antonio.
