CASA of Central Texas advocates for abused and neglected children in the court system by recruiting, training and supporting community volunteers in Caldwell, Comal, Guadalupe and Hays counties. The latest class of Court Appointed Special Advocates will be assigned to children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect and are currently in the court system. Hays County residents who have recently become advocates include Kern Huff, Ursula Pinner, Carolyn Liner, Lydia Baese and Eric Mann.
